# Recommend Server Hardware

This hardware has been tested at DLS and is known to work well as a usb-remote server.

## Raspberry Pi 5 8GB RAM

Raspberry 4 is also suitable, I have also found 2GB RAM models to work fine.

## Raspberry Pi Pico with Pico OLED 1.3" Display

This is used for easily extracting the MAC address of the Raspberry Pi during commissioning.

## Alternative Power Supply

If you plan on running a number of Pis. Then a modern GAN USB-C Power Delivery power supply with multiple ports is a good alternative. Make sure it can provide at least 5A at 5V per Pi.
