# Recommend Server Hardware This hardware has been tested at DLS and is known to work well as a usb-remote server. If you choose this hardware then a pre-configured Raspberry Pi usb-remote server image is available to download, see the [Raspberry Pi Commissioning Guide](../tutorials/commissioning_raspi.md). ## Raspberry Pi 5 8GB RAM Raspberry 4 is also suitable, I have also found 2GB RAM models to work fine. ![Raspberry Pi 5](images/pi5.png) ## MicroSD Card 16GB e.g. SanDisk Ultra 16GB or larger. ![SanDisk Ultra](images/sandisk.png) ## High Quality Passively Cooled Case e.g.Geekworm Raspberry Pi 5 Case (P573) ![Geekworm Case](images/pi-case.png) ## Power Supply Official Raspberry Pi 27W USB-C Power Supply ![Raspberry Pi Power Supply](images/raspi-ps.png) ## Raspberry Pi Pico with Pico OLED 1.3" Display This is used for easily extracting the MAC address of the Raspberry Pi during commissioning. ![Pico OLED](images/pico-led.png) ## Alternative Power Supply If you plan on running a number of Pis. Then a modern GAN USB-C Power Delivery power supply with multiple ports is a good alternative. Make sure it can provide at least 5A at 5V per Pi. e.g. Ugreen Nexode 200w ![Ugreen Nexode](images/ugreen-ps.png)
